Me-Made-May Week Four Wrap-Up

“I, Kelly of Cut Cut Sew, sign up as a participant of Me-Made-May ’13. I endeavour to wear one handmade garment each day for the duration of May 2013″

We are on the home stretch now, only one more week to go!  I had my first repeats this week, I still have a few handmade items in my closet that I haven’t worn yet this month but I wanted to get back to some of my favorites.  I am going to try to get most of them out in the next week.  Overall I am pretty happy that I had enough to make it this far without wearing the same thing twice!  Here’s my week:Me-Made-May Week 4

Me-made items, clockwise from top left:  PJ pants and fleece Renfew top (for cleaning day!), Japanese linen Darling Ranges dress, Colette Laurel top, Colette Laurel dress, Washi dress, Lacy Briar t-shirt and Moss denim skirt (Project Sewn 80s outfit), Mission Maxi dress with lace Briar t-shirt

Thank you, that is so nice of you to say! I think you have quite a bit of awesomeness already! A sewing retreat sounds fun 🙂

  • Ooh, I love you version of the Laurel! It’s so pretty and spring-y! Also, the peter pan collar, you can’t go wrong 🙂

    • Kelly

Thank you! It was my first time adding a collar to a pattern, it opens up so many new possibilities!

  • Oh, I love, love, love the clothes that you’ve made! They are so fun but so wearable. I think it’s hard to get that combination sometimes but you’ve nailed it!

    • Kelly

Thank you so much!! That is definitely a challenge and something I think about every time I make something, for sure 🙂
